RedIRIS, the research and academic network that provides advanced services of communications to the scientific and academic community, has opened two new presence points in the Basque Country. One of them is located in the DPC of the University of the Basque Country in the Korta building in Donostia, and the other one, in the TEKNIKER´s installations, in Eibar. Furthermore, it has moved the presence point from its location in Telefónica´s centers in Vitoria to one of EJIE´s DPC.

Those improvements expand the possibility of disposing circuits over RedIRIS´s infrastructure, and it is going to facilitate the collaboration in projects among Basque institutions and others that are connected to an academic network, anywhere around the world.
