On November 7, the tender for the renewal of the equipment of the i2basque network was signed with the company ICA SISTEMAS Y SEGURIDAD, S.L. for the amount of 450,123.88 euros plus VAT.

Ikerlan is going to stop sharing its connection point to i2basque network with Orona in Galarreta, and it´s going to establish its own.

i2basque collaborates with Basque Mahara community. Recently, its platform has enabled the functionality that allows to see automatically the strings translated to Basque in their context. Mahara is an open source platform for create electronic portfolios, and at the same time, provides tools for work in group.
